Are you eligible for the Saskatchewan Express Entry Program?

Canada, one of the most immigrant-friendly countries in the world, provides several avenues for people from all over the world to migrate seamlessly. And this blog is all about the Saskatchewan Express Entry Program, one of Canada’s most popular immigration programs.

We can check your eligibility for the Saskatchewan Express Entry Program!

What Exactly is Saskatchewan Express Entry?

The Saskatchewan Express Entry Program is one of the SINP’s (Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program) sub-divisions.

(The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program is the province’s provincial nominee program, which focuses exclusively on satisfying the province’s labour market demands while also adding value to the province’s people by nominating skilled immigration applicants for PR and employment in the province.)

The Saskatchewan Express Entry stream is a streamlined process that allows the province to seek for and nominate qualified immigration candidates from the Federal Express Entry pool for Permanent Residency in Saskatchewan. This stream allows the province to meet its labour needs without having to run a separate program, instead selecting from an already existing pool of applicants.

To be considered for PR, candidates in the federal pool must submit an Expression of Interest to the province of Saskatchewan.

Candidates who are nominated by the Saskatchewan Express Entry program must then apply for Canadian Permanent Residency (Canadian PR).

1)      To begin, you must create an Express Entry profile and obtain a profile number as well as a job seeker validation code. The profile should be current.

2)      The next eligibility criteria are post-secondary educational qualifications and graduation, post-graduation, or diploma in a skill in demand in Canada.

3)      In the PNP Saskatchewan assessment grid, your score should be at least 60 out of 100.

4)      You must have at least two years of job experience in a high-demand field in Canada. The positions should be categorized under NOC “A”, “O”, or “B”, which are in high demand in Saskatchewan.

5)      You must also achieve the minimum band scores in the language tests required by your applied immigration program, such as IELTS, TOEFL, and so on.

6)      Finally, you must have a minimum amount of funds for settlement and a reasonable settlement plan as established by Immigration Saskatchewan.

How do I apply for Saskatchewan Express Entry?

The stream is solely dependent on the Expression of Interest method, via which eligible immigration applicants can create an account and register using the SINP Online portal.

The applicants are then scored and ranked against one another for the nomination depending on their scores. The top-ranking candidates will be invited to apply for one of the SINP’s programs.

The individual must then apply to the province of Saskatchewan within 30-60 days (as stated).

When the province approves an application, the candidates will be notified, and they will have 30 days to accept the provincial nomination.

Acceptance of the nomination would result in an automatic 600-point boost to the candidate’s CRS score. As a result, the chances of receiving the ITA in the next Express Entry draw are increased.
