Australia Tourist Visa, also known as Australia Visitor Visa, is a type of non-immigrant visa. It allows foreign nationals to visit and stay in Australia for a certain time. 6)      Previous international trips

Indians who want to apply for an Australia Visitor Visa from India can demonstrate that they intend to visit Australia just for a short time by presenting the following documentation:

1)      There is evidence of family ties in India and/or Australia.

2)      Evidence of commitments can be found in India, such as participation in specialized groups, volunteer work, and so on.

3)      Evidence of admission to a university or school

4)      Evidence of income, which may include assets possessed and bank statements

5)      Evidence of the employer’s approval of the leaves

6)      Evidence of employment in India

Documents Required for a Tourist Visa to Australia:

Passport – You must provide a notarized copy of all pages, including the changes page, bio-data page, and last page.

Photographs – Two recent passport-sized (45mmX35mm) pictures of the shoulders and head against a white backdrop. Each photo must have your name printed on the backside.

Visit Purpose – The itinerary that covers every element of the visit, including the sites to visit and activities planned.

Financial Documents:

1)      Copies of documents containing information about your funds and assets

2)      A copy of your bank statements demonstrating continuous savings in the previous

3)      Tax returns for the previous three years

You must provide a statutory statement of financial support from a relative, as well as proof of their financial ability to do so. 4)      If you are self-employed, you must provide proof of business registration.

Documents Regarding Health and Character:

1)      You may be required to give reports of specific medical tests and X-rays. All those who want to come to Australia must meet the country’s health standards.

2)      Proof of health insurance for the duration of the stay

3)      AUSAID recipients or students must provide a letter of support from the AUSAID Minister.

Children under the age of 18 must have a notarized NOC – No Objection Certificate from a parent who is not accompanying them. They must also produce copies of their parents’ passports. Their trip to Australia will be approved by the NOC. Form 1229 must be filed in this situation. If children are travelling or staying with someone who are not related to them, their nationality, date of birth, and complete name must be provided. This individual who will be responsible for the child in Australia must sign a statement of support. In this scenario, Form 1257 must be completed.

How to apply for Australia Tourist Visa?

The application process for an Australia Visitor Visa Subclass 600 is well-organized and straightforward.

Indians wishing to apply for an Australia Visitor Visa from India can do so both offline and online. It is preferable to use the online application method. To apply for a visa online, first create an Immi-Account and then submit the application.

To apply offline, go to the Australia Visa Application Centre. If you file an application at VAC, your original documents will be returned to you at the counter. You must provide copies that will be witnessed on the spot by the VAC. Your application may take up to 15 working days to be processed by the office. If the application involves a medical examination, the processing time may be extended.
