Canada, Eighth Express Entry Draw 0f 2023 on March 23rd
On March 23rd IRCC invited 7000 candidates in a surprise Express Entry Draw.
The latest Express Entry Draw took place on March 23rd, 2023, which was the 8th Express Entry Draw. Canada is inviting thousands of immigrants to apply for Permanent Residency every month. This draw was an all programs draw. The draw offered:
- 7,000 ITA
- 484 cut off score (CRS)
- All programs
An all-program draw means candidates, invited from the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) and the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP).
The next express entry draw is expected to occur on March 29th, 2023.
Normally, Express Entry draws are held every two weeks. In addition to being the largest program-wide draw, the 7,000 ITAs are the second-largest Express Entry draw of all time, behind the record-breaking CEC-only draw in February 2021.
some provinces have announced increases in PNP allocations for this year compared to 2022. For example, Canada’s largest province, Ontario, will see its allocation increase to 18,000 seats in 2025. Manitoba’s 2023 allocation has increased by 3,175 seats compared to from 2022 to 9,500 and Saskatchewan will have 7,250 nominees in 2023, increasing to 8,500 in 2025.
Alberta will also see a significant increase in allocations in 2023 to 9,750 from 6,500 seats in 2022. Like Saskatchewan, allocations will continue to increase over the next two years to reach 10,849 by 2025. Other provinces have not yet released data on their expected numbers.
