The Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) is an immigration program operated by the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The program allows the province to nominate individuals who wish to live and work in Newfoundland and Labrador for permanent residency. The NLPNP offers a number of immigration streams, including the Skilled Worker, International Graduate, and Business Investor categories. The program also has a number of temporary immigration streams, such as the International Graduate Entrepreneur and International Student Entrepreneur categories. In order to apply for the NLPNP, applicants must meet certain criteria and have a valid job offer from an employer in Newfoundland and Labrador.

NLPNP Skilled Worker:

The Express Entry Skilled Worker Pathway (EE SWP) is a federal immigration program that allows Canadian employers to hire skilled foreign workers and international graduates who have the skills and experience needed to fill labour shortages in Canada. It is part of the Express Entry system, a system created by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to speed up the processing of economic immigration applications. 

The EE SWP enables Canadian employers to hire skilled workers who have the right combination of education, work experience, language ability, and other factors to fill labour shortages. To be eligible for the EE SWP, applicants must first create an online profile in the Express Entry system. This profile is then assessed and assigned a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score based on the information provided. 

If a Canadian employer is interested in hiring a foreign worker, they can submit a job offer and the worker’s profile will be given a higher CRS score and invited to apply for permanent residence.

NLPNP International Graduate Pathway:

The NLPNP International Graduate Pathway is a program designed to help international graduates of recognized Canadian post-secondary institutions to transition to permanent residency in Canada. The program allows graduates to gain valuable Canadian work experience in their field of study by obtaining a valid post-graduation work permit and then applying for permanent residency. The program is intended to help international students to gain the necessary skills and experience to help them to become fully integrated members of the Canadian workforce and society.

NLPNP Express Entry: 

The NLPNP Express Entry stream is an immigration program designed to help employers in Newfoundland and Labrador recruit and retain qualified foreign workers and international graduates. This stream is part of the larger Express Entry System, which is used by the federal government to manage applications for permanent residence from skilled workers. 

Through this program, employers in Newfoundland and Labrador can nominate foreign workers and international graduates who meet certain criteria for permanent residence in Canada. To be eligible for the NLPNP Express Entry stream, applicants must have a valid Express Entry profile and demonstrate that they have the skills, education, and work experience to fill an in-demand occupation in the province.

NLPNP Entrepreneur:

The NPLNP International Entrepreneur Pathway is a program designed to encourage and facilitate the start-up and growth of businesses by foreign entrepreneurs in Canada. The program offers start-up visas to foreign entrepreneurs who have a solid business plan for a Canadian business venture that can create jobs and benefit Canada’s economy. 

The pathway is open to entrepreneurs who are able to demonstrate that they have sufficient net worth and/or access to capital to fund their business, a viable business plan, and the ability to create economic benefits and jobs for Canadians. 

Eligible entrepreneurs may apply for a start-up visa, which will give them a two-year window to establish a business in Canada. Foreign entrepreneurs who are accepted into the pathway may also be eligible for certain immigration benefits, including access to a Start-up Visa Investor Program, which provides permanent residency after two years. After five years, successful applicants may be eligible for Canadian citizenship. The NPLNP International Entrepreneur Pathway is a great opportunity for foreign entrepreneurs who have an innovative business idea and the drive to make it happen in Canada.

NLPNP Self Employed:

The NLPNP Self Employed program provides an opportunity for self-employed individuals to immigrate to Canada. The program is part of the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP). Self-employed individuals must have the intention and ability to become self-employed in the province, have the relevant experience and education, and meet certain other requirements. 

The intent of the program is to attract experienced individuals who will contribute to the economy of the province by providing goods and services, creating employment opportunities, and transferring knowledge and skills. Successful applicants are nominated for Canadian permanent residence.

NLPNP Family Connections:

NLPNP Family Connections is a program created by the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP). It is designed to help reunite families who have been separated due to immigration. The program allows individuals with close family members who have been residing in Newfoundland and Labrador for at least one year to apply for a nomination certificate. 

The nominee must demonstrate that they have close family ties in the province, such as a parent, grandparent, brother or sister, aunt or uncle, niece or nephew, or first cousin. The NLPNP Family Connections program helps facilitate the family reunification process, allowing families to be reunited in a shorter amount of time.
