What are the streams under the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) / Ontario PNP?

There are different pathways under the Ontario Immigration Nominee program, and they help overseas skilled foreign nationals to relocate and get Canada PR visas. The applicants can benefit immensely from these streams and meet the labor market shortage for skilled workers, investors, and entrepreneurs.

The streams under the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) are –

• Human Capital category
• Master’s or Ph.D. category
• Employer Job offer category
• Business category

The programs that are managed under the business category are – 

• Entrepreneur
• corporate

Under the master’s and Ph.D. category, there are three streams, and this category is not aligned with the Express entry – The streams are –

• Master graduate stream
• Ph.D. Graduate stream

For the employer Job offer category, the category that exists is –

• Foreign Worker stream
• International students
• In-demand skills stream

OINP is an employer-driven program, and the applicants can apply to the program only when they have a full-time, continuous, permanent job offer from an Ontario employer. The work experience of the applicant will be counted only if it was a payable job, as any volunteer jobs will not be taken into consideration.
